Description

Here is *Sharquelle 's character Aronansa running from the Thalmor and escaping to Skyrim and ultimately the Thieves Guild. After everything the Thalmor out her through I wanted to show not just her heart ache, but also the humilation she endured. Exposed to the elements she's too tired to just break down and cry. So it's almost like the beads of moisture and rain are tears of Nirn weeping for her.... ahhh how poetic?

I painting over a sketch in GIMP with my trusty bamboo tablet (it's really getting old though...). Also tried to simulate a Bokeh effect with the dappled lighting in the background and the S Fumato technique of blending the edges out a little.
