Far Away From Me, She Walks In Starlight

I've been meaning to draw some Thranduil Fan Art and thought I would squeeze this in today before I go back to doing "real work" tomorrow! This title was inspired by a quote from Killi which I thought was really beautiful, and I felt that it reflected the pain and immense loss that Thranduil carries with him. I guess the Elves who live such long lives are bound to have that dark "Tragic Beauty" when the world around them is so transient. I didn't like the Battle of Five Armies as much as the last Hobbit movie, but I got my fill of Thranduil and it was also the first "Trilogy" my love and I have seen together  That alone really made it special for me! 

This is also my first illustration for 2015 so I'm pleased it was some fan art I got to dork out with The quote from Killi is below:
